When their headquarters are destroyed and the world is held hostage, the Kingsman's journey leads them to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the US. These two elite secret organizations must band together to defeat a common enemy.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle is a 2017 action-adventure spy comedy film co-produced and directed by Matthew Vaughn and written by Vaughn and Jane Goldman. It is a sequel to Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014) which is based on the comic book series Kingsman, created by Dave Gibbons and Mark Millar. The film features Colin Firth, Taron Egerton, Mark Strong, Edward Holcroft, Hanna Alström and Sophie Cookson reprising their roles from the first film with Julianne Moore, Halle Berry, Pedro Pascal, Elton John, Channing Tatum and Jeff Bridges joining the cast. The plot follows the members of Kingsman needing to team up with their American counterpart, Statesman, after the world is held hostage by Poppy Adams and her drug cartel, "The Golden Circle".

Kingsman: The Golden Circle premiered in London on 18 September 2017 and was theatrically released in the United Kingdom on 20 September 2017 in 3D and 2D and in the United States on 22 September 2017 in IMAX. It has grossed $401 million worldwide against a budget of $104 million and received mixed reviews from critics with the use of new characters and over-stylized action being met with a polarized reception and the 141 minute runtime being criticized.
Plot

A year has passed since Eggsy Unwin and the secret organisation Kingsman saved the world from Richmond Valentine's neurological wave broadcast. He has since taken his late mentor Harry Hart's title of Galahad and lives with Tilde, Crown Princess of Sweden. On his way home from the tailor shop, he is ambushed by Charlie Hesketh, a former Kingsman trainee who lost his arm and vocal cords during the Valentine incident. Eggsy evades Charlie with his henchmen in a car chase across London, but Charlie's severed cybernetic arm hacks into the Kingsman servers through the car's computer system. While Eggsy is away in Sweden, a volley of missiles destroy the Kingsman headquarters and wipe out all of the agents in Britain, including Eggsy's best friend Roxy; his dog JB and his non-agent friend Brandon are also killed.

Being the only surviving agents, Eggsy and Merlin follow an emergency protocol which leads them to Statesman, a secret American organisation posing as a Bourbon whiskey distillery in Kentucky. There, they discover that Harry survived Valentine's gunshot a year earlier, but is suffering from amnesia and has lost an eye. After a briefing from Statesman head Champagne about a secret terrorist organisation called The Golden Circle, the two agencies begin their mission by targeting Charlie's ex-girlfriend Clara Von Gluckfberg. When Statesman agent Tequila develops a blue rash, he is replaced by agent Whiskey as Eggsy's partner. Eggsy manages to plant a tracking device on Clara during an encounter, but his revelation of the mission to Princess Tilde strains their relationship. After several failed attempts to cure Harry's amnesia, Eggsy triggers Harry's memories by threatening to shoot a Cairn Terrier puppy that resembles Harry's late dog.

The Golden Circle proves to be the world's largest drug cartel. Its leader, Poppy Adams, broadcasts a message telling the world about a toxin she has added to all recreational drugs, which causes users to develop blue rashes before progressing through mania, paralysis, and ultimately, death. She also demonstrates the antidote on a captive Elton John and offers it to the world if the President of the United States ends his country's War on drugs and grants immunity from prosecution to her cartel. The President decides to have every affected user quarantined, including his Chief of Staff, Fox, with the intention of letting them all die in order to put Poppy out of business. Eggsy, Harry, and Whiskey head to the antidote factory in Italy after intercepting a phone call to Charlie by Clara. Eggsy manages to steal an antidote sample, but it is broken by Whiskey during an ambush by The Golden Circle's henchmen. During the gunfight, Harry shoots Whiskey in the head, as he suspects that Whiskey is playing both sides, but Eggsy saves him with the same technology that Statesman had used to save Harry. Princess Tilde calls Eggsy in a state of mania, revealing that she has been affected by the blue rash. Eggsy, Harry, and Merlin discover the location of Poppy's hideout, "Poppy Land", in Cambodia and fly there to steal the remote control which deploys the antidote drones.

Upon their arrival at Poppy Land, Eggsy steps on a land mine, but Merlin sacrifices himself to save him and Harry, killing the compound's guards as well. Eggsy and Harry storm through the lair; Eggsy kills Charlie, while Harry destroys Poppy's robotic attack dogs with the help of Elton. They secure the laptop that controls the drones and inject Poppy with a concentrated dose of her toxin, and Poppy gives them the password before dying from its effects. Whiskey interrupts them before they can deploy the drones, revealing that he is working alone in order to wipe out all drug users; his pregnant wife had died years earlier in a robbery committed by two methamphetamine users. Eggsy and Harry fight and kill Whiskey, then deploy the drones to release the antidote and save the affected victims throughout the world.

In the aftermath, Fox has the President impeached for conspiring to commit genocide on the drug victims. Champagne announces that Statesman has acquired a distillery in Scotland to help rebuild Kingsman. To avoid the confusion of two agents using the "Galahad" codename, he offers to name either Eggsy or Harry as the new Whiskey. Both of them decline, but tech support specialist Ginger Ale volunteers for the position and is voted in by the membership. Eggsy marries Princess Tilde, and Tequila visits the new Kingsman shop in London after acquiring a formal suit.
